Your Tasks

- Define and implement AML strategies and processes across the bank
- Design and oversee our internal control system to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing
- Act as the key point of contact for regulatory bodies, internal stakeholders, and external auditors
- Conduct risk assessments, handle suspicious activity reporting, and deliver internal AML training
- Collaborate closely with Compliance, Legal, Risk, and IT teams to drive sustainable, tech-enabled solutions
Your Background
- A university degree in Law, Business, or a related field
- Several years of AML/Compliance experience, ideally in a leadership capacity
- Deep knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g. AMLA, EU Directives, FATF)
- Experience dealing with regulators and managing internal control systems
- Analytical mindset, confidence in decision-making, and a strong sense of responsibility
- Sound understanding of domestic and international payment flows
- Fluent in German and English – both written and spoken

- A voice at the table and room to shape strategy
- Flat hierarchies, short decision-making cycles, and plenty of creative freedom
- Flexible hours and remote work options
- Competitive compensation and ongoing learning opportunities
- A supportive team and a respectful, inclusive workplace culture
- The salary for this position starts at € 70,000 per year (full-time; all-in) according to the collective bargaining agreement, with the potential for higher pay based on your experience
